First of all and almost the most important, it's still hot here. Well, not as hot as it was in the summer here, but I think better than lots of summer days back in Latvia. It's still around +25, whereas it's around +17 in Latvia. And it was raining only couple of times here during the 2,5 months that I live in Varna.
The next good thing about Varna in September is that the trees are still green and there are only couple of yellow leaves on the ground. As far as I know, in Latvia trees are already supposed to be turning red-yellow-brown...
Another advantage of Varna in September is that in addition to the previous two it is dark at around 8 pm, so if you want to have almost summer pictures of Varna at night, you don't need to wait till late, so it's more safe and better. This is why I tried to take some shots couple of days ago.

The last good thing I can think about about Varna in September is that it's a bit different from August. And changes are good.
